Are you looking for a fun way to get active and meet great people? The Island Warriors are more than just a Houston dragon boat team; we are a family on the water. As a proud program of the Filipino Young Professionals (FYP) of Houston, we focus on building community, celebrating culture, and fostering a supportive environment for paddlers of all ages and skill levels.

Whether you are a seasoned athlete or have never picked up a paddle, there is a seat for you in our boat. We believe that dragon boat racing in Houston should be accessible, inclusive, and—most importantly—fun. Our practices are centered on teamwork and "Ohana," ensuring that every member feels at home from the moment they hit the water.
