Emily was born in New York City but spent her formative years growing up in different places around the world including New Jersey, Saudi Arabia, and Switzerland. She now resides in the Houston area and has a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and a Master’s of Science in Global Health and currently works as a Wellness Specialist focusing on mental wellbeing.

Emily originally joined FYP Houston to search for fellow community members after settling in Houston. Now as our Treasurer, she wants to use her skills to help FYP Houston strengthen and grow as an organization and to help make a real difference in our community.

Emily enjoys sports and fitness especially at Barry’s Houston, loves adventures with her dogs Nugget and Ichi and husband Karl, baking sourdough bread, loves an AYCE with her close friends, and trying another DIY project! She's also an avid, active dancer and dance mom of the FYP's Cultural Ambassadors!
