Peter Hernandez was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and attended the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. He moved to Houston to work as a Software Engineer for KBR as a contractor at the Johnson Space Center. One of his goals when joining FYP Houston was to make friends and meet people that could help him understand his new home.

It was through FYP Houston that Peter was able to not only find new connections but help others forge new ones in our community through his work as FYP Houston’s Community Outreach Director, where he helps network and form bridges not just within our Houston community but also other nonprofits and people who are interested in what FYP Houston has to offer!
